Terrebonne Built
Custom home builders — Baton Rouge, Louisiana
We build custom homes on South Louisiana ground — engineered for the water table, the wind, and the way you actually live.
Our approach
One crew. One superintendent.
Your house.
Terrebonne Built is a small operation on purpose. We take on eight houses a year, run every one with a dedicated superintendent, and never hand your build to a subcontractor chain we don't control. You get a weekly walkthrough, a live budget, and a phone number that answers.
Building here means building for here. Elevated foundations where the water table demands it, hurricane strapping as standard, and materials chosen for ninety-percent humidity — not whatever the national catalog says works in Ohio.
The build, start to finish
Dirt to done
Foundation & piers
Soil borings first. Then augered piers to refusal, a sealed vapor barrier, and a slab that won't move when the ground does.
Framing & roof
The skeleton goes up in weeks, not months. Kiln-dried lumber, hurricane clips at every rafter, decked and dried-in before the afternoon storm.
Systems & interior
Everything behind the walls, done right. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing roughed in and inspected before a single sheet of drywall hangs.
Landscape & handover
Punch list, blower-door test, final walk. We hand you keys, manuals, and a one-year warranty we actually answer for.
