October – February
$240/night
Cool and quiet. The best fishing months and the emptiest beach.
Grand Isle, Louisiana
Four bedrooms on the bay side, a dock you can fish off before coffee, and nothing between the porch and the horizon.
The house
Four bedrooms and two baths across two floors, with the living space upstairs so you get the view from the couch. Screened porch the length of the house, outdoor shower, and a freezer big enough for what you catch.
The bay side is calm enough for a kayak and shallow enough to wade. Bring a rod — there's a cleaning station and ice.
