Websites for Louisiana fishing charters and guides

Vexil Studio builds websites for charter captains and fishing guides in Louisiana. The site is built around the question every visitor actually arrives with, which is what dates are open.

You describe the operation by email and get a fixed price back. No calls, no hourly billing.

What a charter website actually has to do

A charter site has one job in the first ten seconds and four jobs after that.

A finished example you can open

Cocodrie Charters is an inshore guide on Terrebonne Bay. It is a complete, working site — not a picture of one. Open it, use it, look at it on your phone.

Open Cocodrie Charters See all fourteen styles

Cocodrie Charters is an invented business, built to demonstrate the style. It is not a client.

Two that are real

The demos are invented. These two are live and serving actual visitors right now.

What every build includes

These are not upgrades. They are in every demo above — open one on your phone and check.

What it costs

Quoted per project, because a one-page site and a fifteen-page site with online booking are not the same job. Send the form describing what you need and you get a fixed number back by email — and if it is not a job I can do well, I will tell you that instead.

Questions

Can people book and pay through the site?

That can be built, and it changes the price. Some captains want full online booking with a deposit taken automatically. Others just want open dates shown and enquiries by email. Describe which one you want in the form and I will price it accordingly.

How much does a charter website cost?

It is quoted per project. A single page showing trips and open dates is a different job from a full booking system that takes deposits. Send the form describing what you need and you get a fixed number back.

Can it show tides or weather?

Yes, that can be pulled in automatically so it stays current without you touching it. Tell me in the form which conditions actually matter for the water you fish and I will build around those rather than a generic weather widget.

Do I need to call you to get started?

No. It runs entirely by email. You describe the operation, I send a fixed price, and if you want it, I build it. That suits most captains, who are on the water when a designer would want to be on the phone.

Will it work on a phone?

Yes, and that is the priority rather than an afterthought. Charter sites get opened on phones, often on poor signal, often by someone standing on a dock. The page is designed for the small screen first and the desktop version follows from it.

Do I own it afterwards?

Yes. Plain files on your own domain, no builder account, no monthly hosting rent paid to me, and nothing preventing you moving it elsewhere later.
