Websites for Louisiana restaurants and seafood houses

Vexil Studio builds websites for restaurants, seafood houses and cafés across Louisiana. Every site is hand-written, works on a phone first, and the menu is real text you can update rather than a PDF nobody can read.

There are no meetings and no hourly billing. You describe the restaurant by email, and you get a fixed price back.

What a restaurant website actually has to do

Most restaurant sites fail on the same four things. None of them are about how it looks.

A finished example you can open

Pontchartrain Fish House is a seafood house on the lakefront. It is a complete, working site — not a picture of one. Open it, use it, look at it on your phone.

Pontchartrain Fish House is an invented business, built to demonstrate the style. It is not a client.

Two that are real

The demos are invented. These two are live and serving actual visitors right now.

What every build includes

These are not upgrades. They are in every demo above — open one on your phone and check.

What it costs

Quoted per project, because a one-page site and a fifteen-page site with online booking are not the same job. Send the form describing what you need and you get a fixed number back by email — and if it is not a job I can do well, I will tell you that instead.

Questions

Can I change the menu myself?

Yes. The menu is plain text in the page rather than an uploaded PDF, so it can be edited directly. If you would rather not touch it, send me the changes and I will make them. Either way there is no monthly platform fee attached to editing your own menu.

Do you build online ordering?

It depends on what you need. Taking payment on the site is a different job from showing a menu, and it changes the price. Describe what you want in the form and I will tell you what it takes, or tell you if a third-party service would serve you better and cheaper.

How much does a restaurant website cost?

It is quoted per project. A one-page site for a food truck and a fifteen-page site with online booking are not the same job, so a single advertised price would be wrong for one of you. Send the form describing what you need and you get a fixed number back.

Do I have to get on a phone call?

No. The whole process runs by email, start to finish. You describe the restaurant, I send a fixed price, and if you go ahead I build it and send it to you. No meetings, no discovery calls.

Do I own the site when it is done?

Yes. They are plain files on your own domain, not a page locked inside a builder. There is no monthly rent to me for hosting and nothing stops you handing the files to somebody else later.

What if my food photos are bad?

Say so in the form. A site built around strong typography and a clear menu can work well without a single photograph, and that is usually a better outcome than filling the page with dim phone pictures of plates.
